CHOIR
Our school is one of our top export products. From time to time they give performances in churches and at other events. When finances allow, tours are undertaken. The choir members practise diligently, as there are always programmes to prepare for. The choir is planning a tour to Namibia in 2023. We look forward to possibly putting on a Musical in the foreseeable future.

DRAMA
Pioneer School’s talent and skills have been met with enthusiasm and recognition at festivals in Fraserburg and Montagu, the kykNET National Drama Competition, the Artscape High School Drama Festival and the Shakespeare South African Schools Festival. Learners are involved in the production process from the outset and their experiences are closely intertwined in the creation and execution of performances. Audiences are moved by their powerful stories which, despite challenges, are performed with confidence and honesty. The school has produced two Top 8 finalists in the National Acting Competition, as well as winning awards for Best Production, Best Actor and Best Director at various festivals.

INTERACT
A junior service organization affiliated to Rotary International. The learners get the opportunity to give something back to the community.

PIONEER RADIO
With the challenges visual impaired people face in finding a sustainable job, radio presents a welcome opportunity for learners to expand their abilities and remain on par with their sighted peers.

We’ve recently set up our very own online radio station, and students from Grade 9-12 get the chance to excel in all the various aspects that broadcasting has to offer in a hands-on, practical environment.

KOOR

INTERACT
‘n Junior diensorganisasie wat by Rotary International geaffilieer is.
